INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Read the contents of the readme_*.txt file on the CD
   for the platform on which you are installing CanogaView Smart Element Manager:

    Windows Platform: read_win.txt
    Solaris Platform: read_sun.txt
    HP-UX Platform:   read_hp.txt

   The readme_*.txt file contains important platform-specific 
   information regarding the installation and operation of 
   nms.

2. If the installer web page did not automatically display 
   when the installation CD was inserted into the CD-ROM 
   drive, open file "install.htm".

3. If prompted with a security warning, allow "InstallAnywhere 
   Web Installer" from "Zero G Software, Incorporated" to be 
   executed.

4. On the ensuing web page, choose one of the installation 
   options shown on the upper right.  Options are provided 
   for installing a full CanogaView Smart Element Manager release, a CanogaView Smart Element Manager full, 
   or the Java Plug-Ins for CanogaView Smart Element Manager.
 
5. Click on the button labeled either "Start Installer for..." 
   or "Download Installer for..." to start the selected installer.
