CHECK SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Before proceeding with this installation, please make sure that your system meets the minimum hardware and software requirements listed below.  These requirements assume a full CanogaView Smart Element Manager installation is to be performed.

See the read_*.txt file on the CD for details on software patch requirements.

Minimum Hardware Requirements:

 - Intel Pentium 500MHz Processor (1GHz recommended or higher is strongly recommended)
 - 128MB RAM (256MB or higher is strongly recommended)
 - Approximately 150MB Disk Space
 - Video Adapter Supporting 256 Colors will display but the quality will be extremely
   poor. It is strongly recommended that 65536 colors (16 bit) or higher be used. 
 - SVGA Monitor
 - CD-ROM Drive
 - Network Adapter Card is required for Ethernet LAN support. 

Minimum Software Requirements:

 - Microsoft Windows OS with TCP/IP Services:
       Windows NT 4.0 SP4
           -or-
       Windows 2000
	   -or-
       Windows XP
 - Web Browser supporting Java Plug-In:
       Netscape Navigator 4.06 or later
           -or-
       Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or later
 - Java Plug-In 1.3.0_01
