CHECK SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Before proceeding with this installation, please make sure that your system meets the minimum hardware and software requirements listed below.  These requirements assume a full CanogaView Smart Element Manager installation is to be performed.

See the read_*.txt file on the CD for details on software patch requirements.

Minimum Hardware Requirements:

 - Sun SparcStation
 - 128MB RAM (256MB or higher recommended)
 - Approximately 150MB Disk Space for runtime environment 
   and 300MB of tmp space during the installation process.
 - CD-ROM Drive

Minimum Software Requirements:

 - Sun Solaris OS version 7 (a.k.a. Solaris 2.7, SunOS 5.7)
 - Web Browser supporting Java Plug-In: Netscape Navigator 4.76
 - Java Plug-In 1.3.0_01
 - HP Openview Network Node Manager 6.1 (optional)
